Well, here we go…kicking it off today with lesson three of a twelve part series showcasing some of my favorite inshore saltwater fly patterns and how to tie them step-by-step!

This next fly is a bit more complex and uses both natural and synthetic materials to create a realistic shrimp pattern for redfish and big bonefish.

Materials Needed:

Thread: White 210 Flat Wax Nylon

Hook: #2 SC15

Tail: Grizzly Hackle Feather

Flash: Rootbear Krystal Flash

Collar: Gold Hackle Feather

Head: MD Tan Cactus Chenille

Weight: MD Bead Chain Eyes

Legs: Barred Tan and Black Chicone Legs

Thanks so much for watching this tutorial. Be sure to stay up to date with the Marabou

Brothers instagram account so you don’t miss out on Lesson #4 coming soon!

Tight lines and happy fly tying!
